Our ‘Ruff ‘n Ready’ harnesses are super tough - perfect for bigger, stronger dogs who have a habit of pulling or jumping. Just because your dog is bigger doesn’t mean they can’t have cute accessories! Please note that no harness can instantly stop a dog from pulling. However, a well-designed harness can offer improved control, which can greatly support your training efforts.

3 point style, allowing you to choose between over-head or step-in fit.
Easily clip your leash to the harnesses D-ring attachment (top or under chest).
Adjustable neck and chest straps ensure a comfortable, snug fit.
Patterned material is durable water-repellent neoprene (top and under chest, making the pattern more visible than our Original Adjustable Harnesses, where the pattern is only visible under the chest area).
Soft breathable padded mesh lining ensures maximum comfort and is quick drying.
3 super secure buckles, one of which is lockable.
Handle on top (helpful for fishing pups out of puddles).
Reflective piping around edging.
Suitable for biiiiiig dogs.

The accessory I want is out of stock, is this pattern discontinued? 😱

No, don’t worry! At the moment the only pattern that will not be restocked is our seasonal pattern “Up To Snow Good”

Do you design your own patterns?

Yes! Every pattern is designed in-house by our small Scottish family team. Nicole (our resident designer) brings the ideas to life, Rachel (the web whizz) makes sure they look perfect on the website, and Mum runs the all-important Review Team — with our office dogs as her loyal assistants. Nothing gets the green light without their nod of approval!

What size of harness/collar should I go for?

We always recommend measuring your dog and using our handy sizing guide to pick the most appropriate size for your pooch. We’ve also introduced a clever new sizing calculator on our product pages — just pop in your pup’s measurements and it’ll recommend the best size, along with how snug or loose it will sit on their chest and neck.

What is the difference between your harnesses?

How long do I have to return something?

You must contact us within 30 days of receiving your order if you’d like to return it. Just email info@messipups.co.uk and we’ll guide you through the return process.

I ordered the wrong size, can I exchange it?

Yes, you can request an exchange by heading to your Account and selecting your order. You’ll have 30 days from the date of delivery to submit a request.

Please include the size or item you’d like in exchange in the notes box when submitting your request. The new item won’t be posted out until we’ve received the original item back in its original, unworn and unwashed condition, with tags still attached.

For bundle orders, you only need to return the item you'd like to swap. We'll adjust your refund or exchange so you're not paying extra – just the postage costs.

A prepaid label will be generated for you during the process. You'll need access to a printer to print it. Please note you're responsible for both the return label and the postage for sending your new item.

😀 I just love these harnesses. I now have both designs in different sizes. I had the small for everyday use and a medium to put a jumper under on colder days. The fit is super and very secure, I love the locking feature for extra peace of mind. The quality of the product is outstanding. I'll be ordering again. I would definitely recommend to anyone.
